The season is winding down on the river, football season is here, the leaves are turning and there is a little chill in the air. The fall colors are beautiful, for those who like to paddle this time of the year. Ducks are starting to congregate in the bends, and recently there have been an unusual number of geese using the river. The fishing is picking up again with the change in water temperatures. Speaking of fishing, the Tallapoosa Paddling Company Team has been working hard the past few weeks, at least one if not all of the team members fished the Guntersville, North Carolina Hardcore and Lake Chatuge Tournaments. With Top 5 finishes in the Guntersville and Chatuge Tournament. The team took 2nd and 3rd at Chatuge. Not only are they competing and winning but they are also promoting the sport of kayak fishing and representing the shop. A big thanks goes out to Stewart, Jason and Doug.
